Can you tell me what material the rear and sides of the project boxes are made from? Thanks.

The sides and the rear of the project box are made from 1.2mm (.04") steel

Is the black front panel version black anodized brushed aluminum like the silver or is it smooth black powder coated with no brushed texture?

The panel has a brushed texture like the silver version.

Is this box capable of taking your existing 1U punched panels on the front, or is the back box screwed to the front plate ? I am just looking at the 1U box to protect the rear wiring on a 1U product but you do not list a 1U box on its own.

unfortunately the R2100/1UK is not designed to work with the 1u panels as these have flanges top and bottom

Are the front and rear available for custom cutouts/printing on the R2100/1UK?
